Organic September Farm Open Day

On Sunday 21st September we gathered to celebrate Organic September. Organic September is a national campaign led by the Soil Association, celebrating the benefits of organic food and farming for people, animals, and the planet.
The day was full of activities for all ages, including:
🚜Tractor–trailer rides
🌿Guided polytunnel tours
🌳 Walks among our trees
🟫 A session exploring the hidden world beneath our feet: the soil!
At lunch we enjoyed seasonal, vegan curry made from Shillingford veggies with St Sidwell's Bakehouse sourdough made from South West Grain Network flour. Sweet treats included St Sidwell's Bakehouse pastries & Shillingford Farm Shop & Cafe cake.
