Shillingford Organics is an organic, agroecological farm & just 3 miles from the center of Exeter. The farm has been organic since 2000 & farmed by the Bragg family since 1965. A team of dedicated growers produce our veg. The farm produces healthy food for local people.
OUR VALUES
What is organic?
NO PESTICIDES
Pesticides kill pests (insects, weeds etc...) & are a key driver of global biodiversity decline. We do not apply pesticides.
NO ARTIFICIAL FERTILISERS
Soils are teaming with life! We look after our soil so that our plants are nourished naturally.
HIGH ANIMAL WELFARE
Our chickens are kept in small flocks, have space to roam & live among trees.
NO GENETIC MODIFICATION
Whilst GM foods are limited in the UK most non-organic farm animals eat them. Our chickens eat a non-GM diet.
