Chicken Wings Pasture-raised and Organically-fed - pack of 6 These are delicious chickens from North Down Farm, near Yeoford, Devon! They start life at Windout Farm, an organic farm near Tedburn St Mary and we take them on as day old chicks, raising them in our broodery at NDF for the first 2.5 weeks before moving them onto our chemical-free pasture for the rest of their lives. They are housed in a mobile house (a converted pig ark!) which is moved daily, and then given access to plenty of ranging area during daytime hours as well (unlike many pastured poultry operations) before being closed up again at night to protect them from mr fox. They are fed a certified organic grain feed to supplement the various bugs and seeds they are able to forage from the pastures. Products are delivered frozen.
